I agree with everything you wrote, Ramona. At our No Kings rally, there were 2-3 men in trucks racing up and down our street (several times) yelling, "Trump!" Like your crowd in Michigan, our protesters in New Hampshire laughed, chanted and waved our flags in response. They soon stopped. We refused to be intimidated by the likes of them. We have the numbers, we have the righteousness, and we have the perseverance. We will win.

There are moments of doubt and exhaustion. But whenever I want to give up, I think, "What's the alternative? Let evil win? Let them continue to hurt people? Wait until it lands at my doorstep?" No. Then I remember that the Silent Sentinels stood outside the White House for years demanding women's suffrage. Black people marched and demonstrated for years demanding civil rights. Neither group gave up and neither will we.
