What a wonderful, heartwarming post and such lovely photos! The closest No Kings demonstration to small town France where I live was three hours away in Paris and too far for car-less me to go, but I was there in spirit supporting all of the other Americans who believe in democracy.
It's so heartening to hear from those of you who are supporting us from your places in the world. You can't know how much that means to us. Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Girl, you look GREAT! Congrats on joining We the People for this historic event. Saturday was my birthday and I was so looking forward to celebrating it by taking to the streets, but I had to sit this one out due to a recent injury. 😖
Ramona, I am so moved by your motivation to get out there given all your obstacles! I wish good health and I thank you for always showing up. It was a beautiful day at the AZ capitol in Phoenix. I was so proud, so happy, so relieved to see it so packed. Thank you again for finding your heart-filled stamina!
I'm afraid I've now grown into this role. It's who I am and who I always will be. It's not something I just accept, it's something I relish! Do I make a difference? To me I do. ❤️
Of course you do! I feel like all of us who are speaking up and fighting in this era are the example for others… “Planting seeds” as one man at the march said to me.
I like "Planting seeds". The one thing I want most is for those of us on our side to stay proud, to believe in ourselves. Sometimes we need a little nudge... ❤️
Thanks, Ramona. I shared on my FB page as this morning's uplifting read! We had a great time in Sacramento, all 8000 of us. So glad that your body told you to GO GO GO!
Love this…told you you were my hero! An icon..a warrior for sure! First, I love your happy smiles….cute picture of you to open this
Passionate piece for peace! ❤️🙌👍👏👏second…you speak for all of us; especially those our age, maybe infirmed or immobile who cheer you the loudest! I have no excuse other than vertigo and claustrophobia. But I send democracy cards ( Act Blue) send letters to every name contact in congress… it’s ongoing; know it’s shut down right now. May I share your post on Facebook? Pure Michigan would love it! ☺️🇺🇸💙You are so inspiring, so much passion and energy makes me smile too! Thank you for being you! ❤️
Joan, yes, please share. Thank you! We're all doing our bit in our own way, and I'm thrilled that so many of us old people can still find so many ways to be active. At our rallies the old always outnumber the young, and I'm fine with that. We have the time, we have the experience, and thank goodness we still have the energy! ❤️
I love everything about this, Mona. Your words, your smile, your unstoppable energy. The photos say it all: joy as resistance, courage as celebration. What a gift to witness you still showing up for hope, for country, for life itself. You embody what ‘No Kings Day’ was all about. I’m so proud to know you.
🖖👏✌️
Looking good! A heartening and joyous day in Lansing, too.
Well done, Ramona! I’m so glad all our protests were peaceful!
Me too! That was my biggest worry.

Warrior on sweet lady!
You, too, friend! ❤️💙❤️
This is beautiful. You are all beautiful. Thank you for sharing this and thank you for never stopping the work!

Thank you. Hope you're feeling well soon, Catherine. I'll bet all of those images of the rallies perked you up! ❤️
You bet they did! Thanks. 😊
❤️💙❤️
Good on you, Ramona! You look great! 💚💚💚
I felt great! 💙💙💙
So happy to see you “up and at’em” lady… you have been here at the start for me on Substack!!! 👊🫡🙂

Thank you for sharing! Best time I've had in a long time!
Great post, great pics; this IS what "love" of country looks like!
Absolutely! This is what we need to celebrate whenever we're feeling down. We did this. We can do it again--and more.
A whole lot more than 7 million know. Every single person who drove by and those they told know too. We were out all over the country. 😊

You're too kind, Elizabeth. I treasure our friendship and want you to know your support heartens and inspires me. ❤️💙❤️
