My Podcast with Mark Mansour
And a visit with Curious George
Hi friends, just a quick note to tell you what I’ve been doing outside of Constant Commoner, in case you missed it.
I’ve been a fan of Mark Mansour’s America’s Fractured Politics for a long time, so when he asked me to participate in his podcast I didn’t think twice. Yes!
I thought we would be talking mainly about politics, and of course politics came up, but Mark asked about other things, too. We talked about some of the personal things I’ve talked about here, and about my writing life—including where my inspiration comes from—and I was able to throw in a few questions for Mark.
All in all, I enjoyed the heck out of it and I hope it shows. If you can spare 33 minutes, here it is. My first podcast! I’d love for you to share it with others, as well. Let me know if you think I should do more of these or just stick to my writing. 😏

Then, out of the blue, I got a request from Story Shed Media’s Michael Maupin to answer his Curious George questionnaire. I wasn’t familiar with it, sorry to say, so I spent some quality time reading a bunch of them and, again, I had to say yes! (In the company of Sherman Alexie. Not bad!)
Helmed by Michael Maupin and Sheila Moeschen, the questionnaire asks the same questions of each of us. Part of the fun is to see how different those answers can be, and it turns out we’re quite an eclectic group—also international. None of us came even close to thinking the same.
So mine is below. Sorry about that closeup picture. You can see every pore! Please share and let me know if you liked it. I really enjoyed doing it.
