How did I miss it?
Of all the dumb things…I messed up. If you tried to comment today on my latest story and ran into the dread “comments are open to paid subscribers only”, it was a mistake. I’m so sorry.
I thought I had hit both buttons, opening everything up to everyone, but I know now I didn’t.
I was busy today—no excuse—but I did wonder why nobody was commenting. It finally dawned on me that the comments might be closed, and sure enough!
They’re open now, as they should always be. My apologies. Dammit!

I’m a senior too. What about those in the SNAP (food stamp) program? I’ll get by as I always do. Adam Kinzinger said something to the effect should we let them touch the stove & get burned or intervene. I thought the same thing. I feel it is time we can say “I told you so.” At one point I vowed I wouldn’t say it. I’d be humble & respectful. A while back I changed my mind. Trump is appointing or wanting to appoint the most ridiculous people. I’m thinking he won’t even let them go through the senate process. He’ll finagle something corrupt & unconstitutional. Now, it’s Tiffany’s father-in-law. I think we have entered an oligarchy (rule by a few). This is a scary mess they got us into.
