I think Trump has given permission for men to act on their worst instincts.

The people I love most are men. I’m the mother of sons. Believe me, for those who don’t know, raising boys is a challenge. Unfortunately mine inherited the snark gene from me. but I never saw a child physically punished in public where the parent didn’t look worse than whatever the child did.

Some men seem to be more dismissive, angry even physical violent against women. ICE agents seem to violently throw women, even pregnant women to the ground regularly.

The completely disproven notion men are more intelligent than women.

The man should make the decisions?

I’ll never get over Roe overturned. It’s ok for women to bleed to death or die of sepsis to preserve a fetus that is already dead. I had the experience of losing a lot of blood during a miscarriage when care was delayed. I arrived at ER alone. They did not believe I was married&thought I’d tried to abort, so they thought way too long before I was treated.

I don’t know if we can get to the place where women are treated with kindness&respect, well that’s the way we treat everyone, but I hope so.

Beautifully written and painfully felt to my core. The GOP is now referring to "us" as "empathy suicidal". As if empathy is a bad thing. Their power is ignited when they feed violence to their supporters and make it OK. They're scraping the barrel now to further ignite hatred and cruelty.

We are not vulnerable to this ploy. it strengthens us and clarifies who we are.
