I, too, loved that show. I think I would weep also if I watched it now and it would be hard to stop those tears.

I agree, but I’m so glad it’s out there available for anyone to watch. It’s on HBO MAX and YouTube. I also own every season on DVD if anyone wants to borrow it. 💙😊

I can't bear to re-watch the West Wing because of how politics has now become. Have you seen The Diplomat? It's got a West Wing feel about it (and two of the actors)

Loved the West Wing for all the reasons you stated. And, yes, the Diplomat is another good one with a couple of the same actors. I wish for that kind of humanity back in the White House.

My 38 years of working evenings/nights prevented me from watching most mainstream shows. I'm subscribed to HBO and will check it out, though I'm sure it'll be heartrending.

It’s a little of everything, including slapstick and intellectual humor. Great writing, as I said.
