You have just said exactly what I have been trying to put into words. I'm nit done yet, and I can't be done yet. We have work to do. Sending lots of love your way.

I’ve only been reading your work for a month or so, but I already know that you are much more than a mere visitor in this world. Through your writing, you actively ensure that we all see the wonderment and pain and that we engage with both.

Thanks, Kathy. I won't be crossing the bridge for a while. Sometime in May, when the ice melts!

Mona perfect reflection on Mary Oliver's poem. You captured the essence of living. We need to relish and enjoy what this world has to offer banding together in that beauty. Also we need to band together and make a difference shoring one another up when the beauty is hidden. Looking forward to sharing the wonder with you soon.

Thank you, dear friend. We've been at this a long time, haven't we? And here we are, still at it. It must be where we want to be...

Just reading through your newsletter again, beginning to end to bring me up to your move. The Mary Oliver poem was just what I needed to share with a friend who - as we sat down to lunch in a cafe alcove - received a text that her beloved brother in law was in hospice out of the blue. Her sister didn't want to talk, and still doesn't (he died peacefully the next day), and I get that 100%. I copied and pasted the poem to my friend because her brother in law and sister lived like that, as does my friend. It's a healing poem, as you note, for everyone. Thank you for sharing your story and your superb writing.
