PLEASE write about it while you can! There's something beautifully simple and elemental having access to natural peace and quiet and without any awful city hum going on in the background. It's why I loved The Outermost House by Henry Beston and why I love receiving posts from Tom Ryan Author on Substack. I can't abide the city and live there in small doses, so to hear of others experiences when they go bush, it would be fabulous!

Thanks, too, for the recommendations. I've never read the Beston book, though I've heard about it. And Tom Ryan is new to me. I've just subscribed to his newsletter.
