Wordle is p***ing me off - for someone who loves language, I get incredibly frustrated when I work with certain combinations of letters...maybe I'm trying too hard. On another tack, I'm slowly getting back to writing and considering heading home to cold Vermont a couple of weeks early. My first big trip (really first big "anything") since hubby died, and it's time to go home.
Yes, Linda, just relax and enjoy Wordle. It's only a contest with yourself. (Which, come to think of it, is often the worst!) I love it. It took me a while to even try it, but once I did I was hooked.
I'm happy to hear you're getting back to writing. I hope the north woods welcomes you with open 'arms'. Home heals hearts. 💕
Nice one. I like the idea of turning inward for warmth and bit of what's sure. That's the mode I'm in right now. I find that it helps me accept a bit of what's going on outside (politically and weather-wise). We do what we can to resist both.
I agree, there has to be a balance or we're at constant risk of burn-out. I enjoyed writing this piece, and, best of all, my blood-pressure stayed low. I need to do this more often!

I'm THRILLED! Because...you know...I love you, too. 💖
