OH my goodness. I love line-dried clothes and sheets. I love hanging them up and taking them down with my husband. And I love this piece. You are a genius.
Memories!! We didn’t have a dryer for a long time when I was a kid and the boiler was old, radiating heat. I used to hang out all the family clothes on the clothesline in the basement. It was like a meditation to take things out of the basket, hang them, and clip. I loved it.
I remember those days of hanging laundry in the basement in winter, too. But that meant ironing, since they didn't get wind-blown. Yuck! Not my favorite job, though some people love that, too.
But, yes, there is a kind of satisfying rhythm that goes along with clipping laundry onto a line.
I don't have a basement now, but I have two folding drying racks that I use sometimes. They add humidity to an otherwise dry room when it's cold outside. Another perk!
Glad you liked it! 💖
>> And sometimes there’s drama. Real drama. And then we have a story.
Yup! 😊

My soulmate! But get that 'genius' idea right out of your head. I refuse to be the source of your disappointment. 😉
