As you say, we all want to offer condolences and wishes. There really is nothing one can say to ease that pain. I suppose just being the matriarch, continuing to love and support Jason’s family is all you can do. Love is the hardest emotion: so easy to create, so damning to lose. If talking to us helps you get through, please don’t stop. I am also the matriarch of our family, and it’s a huge responsibility. You can cry on my shoulder any time.
